Political Analysis Through Satire

Students will be able to define the term satire; identify, analyze, and explain examples of political satire; develop arguments for and against campaign finance reform and draw conclusions; compare and contrast the ways that journalism and satire address political candidates and issues; discuss the role and impact of political satire in the democratic process; create and present examples of political satire.
