Back to School Issue 2004/2005

Dear Colleague,

This is our last summer issue for 2004. The vast majority of our members (91%) will be heading back to school after Labor/Labour Day. We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful school year, and to those of you who are already back, keep up the great work; your students may not always appreciate what you do, but some day they will remember!

For the benefit of both our new and returning members, we would like to give you a quick summary of what we do.

1. We run a network of web sites specifically for teachers (see list below)
2. We publish a weekly newsletter that is distributed to teachers in over 150 countries around the world (see countries)
3. We feature great educational resources for K-12 teachers in all subject areas, including lesson plans, teaching units, worksheets, rubrics and much more.
4. We do not charge any user fees whatsoever, and there is no cost for subscribing
5. We often give away books, posters, software and teaching supplies to our members; so please check to see that your address is correct in your profile below.
6. We do not sell, rent or lend our member list to anyone, ever!

Our network is supported strictly be a small number of sponsors. You may see advertising on our site, but that keeps it gratis. You may receive the occasional email from us, on behalf of a sponsor. These never come directly from the sponsor, because as mentioned above, we do not share your private information with others.

Our site list is quite as to remember and we often call ourselves the "4Teacher" network, as many of our site include those words. Here is a complete list of our sites!
