Friendship Lesson

Friends are like pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up and sometimes they lean on you. The one that you call “friend” is that first person that you call when you hear good news, that person who remembers that you don’t like pickles on your sandwich, and the person who will accompany you on the most boring of errands and make them seem like fun. Friendship is wonderful, but it takes time and effort. Friendship doubles your joy and divides your grief. True friends can grow separately without growing apart.
