Veterans Day & Patriotism

Veterans Day is a perfect time to discuss with students that one of the ways American citizens show their patriotism, or love for one's country, is by serving in the Armed Forces. Students will learn some of the symbols, songs, and pledges that represent our country and which have a special significance to veterans.
